Artist Sarah Green Becomes Action Figure

Artspace111 artist, Sarah Green, has been morphed into a "Jackass" action figure by aspiring artist Nate Merritt. Merritt has created clay figurines of the cast, crew and other peripheral characters from the bizarre stunt show.

Green has in essence become a part of the "Jackass" family with her portraits of several cast members including Johnny Knoxville, Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, and Bam Margera. Green says the immortalization is quite an honor!

Gaile Robinson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram recently reviewed Artspace111's exhibition entitled Paintings, Prints, and Presents. The write-up is featured in the February issue of ARTnews.

In an excerpt from the article, Robinson states, "The artists did not devalue the works from which they are best known; rather, they found ways to express themselves economically."

Greg Miller: On the Road Opening

Artspace111 recently opened Greg Miller's solo show entitled On the Road. Miller's show opened with a bang! Guests were greeted by Miller's life-size horse, Buck, and enjoyed the playful tones of his pop culture collage work. Miller's work will be on display through March 3, 2010.
