Artist Sarah Green recently completed a portrait of former President Gerald R. Ford. The portrait will be auctioned off at the 2009 Spirit of Thanks-Giving Award Dinner, in which the former president is being honored. After the ceremony, Susan Bales Ford will be accepting an artist's proof on behalf of the Ford family.

Matt Clark Past, Present, and Future Undergoing continuous change, we are nothing more than a sum of stops, starts, pauses, beginnings, and endings. My current work parallels this notion. Through repeated movements across the painted surface, a history is created capturing intention, chance, reaction, and decision. The subject therefore becomes the activity, the pursuit and the exploitation of the medium and its possibilities.
